Working Mother Radio - Bettina Bush & Krista Carothers
Kids and the Internet. It’s a brave new world, and our children are being raised with unprecedented access to the internet. What is considered ‘normal’ online behavior, and what are the negative ramifications from too much tech? How can you curb your child’s exposure to TV, video games, and internet access? Is there such a thing as “too much media”?
Host Bettina Bush and Working Mother Senior Research Editor, Krista Carothers sounds off.
Krista Carothers is the Senior Research Editor at Working Mother magazine and the Working Mother Research Institute. She oversees editorial projects (including magazine features) that are based on WMRI’s annual initiatives, including the Working Mother 100 Best Companies and the Best Companies for Multicultural Women. Krista also manages national survey projects for WMRI, including the new How We Flex research, which shows how real working moms are using workplace flexibility in their day-to-day lives.
Krista works remotely from her home in western Massachusetts, where she lives with her husband and 8-year-old son. She has a master’s degree from the Graduate School of Journalism at Columbia University.
