    [00:00:00] Alan’s Gonna Get a Ram 1500 TRX!

They just unveiled the Ram 1500 TRX at a press conference and it looks like the first real competitor to the Ford F-150 Raptor. JoshCAR Hollywood Car Consultant, Josh Hancock, doesn’t want to get into too much detail and spoil the fun for later, but Alan reveals that he’s intent on buying one of the limited run of 702 Ram 1500 TRX Launch Edition! Are you interested in this big, bold new truck?

[00:06:22] Car Colors, Ram, and Dodge

JoshCAR Hollywood Car Consultant, Josh Hancock, has a word to the wise for everyone out there looking for a new vehicle: Don’t get a vehicle’s launch color, you’ll see it everywhere and get sick of it! Changing gears, we discuss the fact that it’s been 10 years since Ram became it’s own brand separate from Dodge. We still say ‘Dodge’ when referring to Ram trucks, it’s just a habit! Do you still call Ram trucks ‘Dodge’, and what’s your favorite color on a vehicle?

[00:12:30] Steve Saleen and Jim Farley News

About a year ago, Alan took a trip to China to visit the factory Steve Saleen was helping design and build, and the supposed new manufacturing headquarters for his lotus-like Saleen S1. Unfortunately, it has all fallen apart, as Steve is running into some sort of trouble in China! JoshCAR Hollywood Car Consultant, Josh Hancock, discusses Steve Saleen’s woes, as well as the rise of Jim Farley to the position of Ford’s new CEO. Tune in to keep up with the automotive news.

[00:19:51] Ram 1500 TRX Going For Raptor’s Jugular

In the Ram 1500 TRX internet reveal event they really hammered home the feel that the TRX is meant to be a Ford F-150 Raptor competitor. Alan gushes to Co-founder of Cartender and Freelance Automotive Journalist for CarGurus, Boston Globe, and U.S. News & World Report, George Kennedy III, about the new Ram 1500 TRX that he ordered! George says this vehicle looks fantastic, and even though it might have a pretty exorbitant price tag, it delivers the goods and is worth every penny.

[00:28:41] Niche Branding Allows for Awesome TRX

FCA has done a great job of making their brands focus on one thing so they can excel at what they do. That’s why Ram was able to fine tune their newly unveiled Ram 1500 TRX into the beast it is. Freelance Automotive Journalist for CarGurus, Boston Globe, and U.S. News & World Report, George Kennedy III, discusses the unique structuring of FCA, and the awesome features of the new Ram 1500 TRX. Are you going to take a bite out of this 702 horsepower truck?

    [00:35:52] 2020 Cadillac XT-6: Spacious, Luxurious

A midsize three-row SUV has been something that has been missing from Cadillac’s lineup. Freelance Automotive Journalist for CarGurus, Boston Globe, and U.S. News & World Report, George Kennedy III, has been driving the 2020 Cadillac XT-6 and it fits very well for your standard American family. Plenty of space and headroom, and a luxurious interior make this a great addition to your driveway. Tune in to learn more.

    [00:42:13] $394,000 Rolls-Royce Cullinan Luxury SUV

What could you possibly add to a vehicle that warrants $64,000 in options!? Editor of AutoNXT and Contributor to MSN.com, Perry Stern, is driving the new Rolls-Royce Cullinan and it has some very spendy options that almost come to the price of a new Ram 1500 TRX, but what does he get for all that money? Well, things like lambs wool floor mats, rear seat entertainment, and more!

    [00:48:03] Rolls-Royce Cullinan is Smooth

If there was one word to encapsulate the feel of the 2020 Rolls-Royce Cullinan, it would be smooth. Editor of AutoNXT and Contributor to MSN.com, Perry Stern, says everything about the vehicle is just as smooth as butter, from the acceleration, to the style of the rear passenger area. It’s not lacking in power, either, with a 6.75L Twin Turbo V12 engine that makes 570HP and the capability to go off-road.

[00:54:45] 2021 Kia K5 is an Impressive Sedan

It might not be a Rolls-Royce Cullinan, but you could buy 10 Kia K5 and still have $100,000 left over instead of buying a Rolls-Royce Cullinan. Editor of AutoNXT and Contributor to MSN.com, Perry Stern, has a story coming out on the 2021 Kia K5 and he gives us a little preview. This car comes in at $23,490 and is very impressive. Great looks, LED headlights, dual zone climate control, a beautiful touch screen display complete with Android Auto and Apple Car play are just some of the features you get with a Kia K5. This version of the vehicle doesn’t use a plug-in system, it self-recharges as you drive. 134 horsepower, 54 mpg combined, a modern look and feel inside and out, and decent room in the cockpit are just a few of the features Hyundai has loaded into the Ioniq. To top it all off, the Ioniq starts at $23,200 and goes up to $31,200. A very affordable addition to the family garage.

[01:11:35] Best Cars and Advice for Your Teen

If you’re thinking about buying your teenager a new or used vehicle, you better listen in here first. Executive Editor at US News and World Report, Jamie Page Deaton, is here with a word of advice: make extra double triple sure that your teen is ready to drive before you let them out on the road. It’s not about just your teen’s safety, but the safety of those around your teen. With that said, Jamie has a great new article that covers vehicles starting at $20,000 that would be great for you and your teen, like the Honda Fit, Kia Sportage, and Nissan Rogue. Head over to US News and World Report to get the full story.

[01:18:06] Teen Car Buying Mantra: Big Boring Slow

Executive Editor at US News and World Report, Jamie Page Deaton, gets into the list of great cars for teens, from the sub $20,000 group with the 2020 Honda Fit, to the $25,000 Kia Optima or Sportage, and on up to the $35,000+ Toyota Camry Hybrid or Hyundai Santa Fe. If you look at the list you’re likely to notice a common thread – all of the cars are boring! That’s exactly what you want when you’re looking for a car for your teen. Do not buy your teen a performance car! Follow the mantra big, boring, slow, when shopping for a car for your teenager.
